Our international business operations involve varied forms of mutually-beneficial partnerships and collaborations. We have nine subsidiaries – the USA, the UK, EU, South Africa, Ukraine, Spain, Nigeria, Kenya, Malaysia, Germany, Russia and the Philippines, in addition to a Branch Office in Kazakhstan and an Associate in Indonesia. Our overseas engagements entail expanding our product portfolio through registrations.
AFRICA
India’s ties with diverse African states have grown steadily in the economic, politico-strategic, healthcare and cultural spheres. In line with the emergence of India as a major pharmaceutical supplier to the continent, Macleods has supplied medicines to Africa via private distribution channels as well as for their national healthcare requirements. We have a total of 1000+ products registered in Africa, and another 585+ under registration.
East Africa
We are present across major East African countries for the supply of Anti-TB, HIV, Anti-Malarial drugs and other generic products.
SOUTHERN AFRICA
We are present across major Southern African countries.
South Africa
We commenced our operations in South Africa in 2005.
Francophone Countries
We are present across all the major countries in FWA and also have a direct field presence in some of the regions here.
Anglophone Countries
Our business operations in this region take place through distribution partners.
CIS (COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES)
Macleods has a ground presence in some of the CIS countries. We have a total of 250+ products registered in the CIS region, with another 50+ under registration.
Russia
We are present in Russia, through our subsidiary.
Ukraine
We have registered several products in Ukraine and our manufacturing sites are approved by the Ukrainian health authorities.
Kazakhstan
We have been operational in Kazakhstan since 2010. We have registered several products in Kazakhstan and our manufacturing sites are approved by the local health authorities.
Uzbekistan
In Uzbekistan, we operate via a distribution model. We intend to pursue strategic tie-ups, to establish a direct presence in this region.
MIDDLE EAST & NORTH AFRICA (MENA)
MENA Countries
We have a total of 120+ products registered in the MENA region, with another 85+ under registration. We operate via a distribution model in this region.
ASIA PACIFIC
Indonesia
We have collaborated with our associate Sampharindo Retroviral Indonesia, to manufacture ARVs in this region.
Nepal, Myanmar & Sri Lanka
We have a direct presence in these markets and promote our products here.
South East Asia
We are present across countries in Southeast Asia.
